Ennis Del Mar at Studio 54, New York City.

I keep asking someone to write about this unknown episode in the Human Interest/Two Crows Joy AU, but alas! No one seems to believe it happened. (Maybe we should turn this into a fiction challenge...hmmm...)

Therefore, here is photographic proof that a certain cowboy did indeed visit the notorious nightclub while in New York City attending the annual Wretched Ranch Workers Convention. Here, after his first hit ever of cocaine, his eye is caught by the scantily-clad male waiters, naked except for gym shorts and sneakers.

Geez, you could write a whole chapter on just how he got past the lineup to get in :-)

Hi, I know I've been slow to get onto this group, and for that I apologize.
At the moment, all my BBM-themed fanart (including a bunch of illustrations I created for madlori's Human Interest and a couple test photoshops for Ellery Cantrell of the Laramie Saga) are here on Flickr:

I am planning to write chapter 9 of my HI/TCJ AU fanfic Chiron, and then I am returning to my first love, FANART. I'm switching my attention between three stories, jenna's Someone New, madlori's Two Crows Joy, and louisev's ongoing Laramie Saga.

At Stanford University, for instance, computer scientists are developing a robot that can use a hammer and a screwdriver to assemble an Ikea bookcase (a project beyond the reach of many humans) as well as tidy up after a party, load a dishwasher or take out the trash. More striking advances are likely to come from new bio-models of the brain.

A pro-life blogger rants about a horrific article written by a girl who is thrilled to be having an abortion. That sounds really horrible until you see the story is from The Onion. That the article was satire was missed by the blogger. Some of the comments posted are hilarious.

Feedback: Yes, please.  I’m a total feedback whore :-) Constructive criticism and fan mail are ESPECIALLY welcome.

Note: Chiron is a planetoid in the outer solar system, considered as both an asteroid and a comet by astronomers.  Discovered in 1977 by Charles T. Kowal, it was the first known member of a new class of objects now known as Centaurs, with an orbit between those of Saturn and Uranus, well outside the asteroid belt. Centaurs are not in stable orbits and will eventually be removed by gravitational perturbation by the giant planets, moving to different orbits or leaving the solar system altogether.  In astrology, the position of Chiron in a person’s chart is said to give an indication of that person’s deepest wounds, and the lessons which that person needs to learn in order to heal from those wounds.
